## Overview

Martin is one of the very few ORDIT (Official Register of Driving Instructor Training) accredited trainers in Oxfordshire, meaning the governing body, the DVSA, recommend their clients to use an ORDIT Accredited Trainer when qualifying in becoming a driving instructor.

ORDIT trainers are used to either train a “New Potential Driving Instructor” (PDI) to gain their ADI Badge or to re-train exiting “Approved Driving Instructor” (ADI) in meeting the high standard requirements for their pending ADI Standards Check to help them gain a pass certificate in maintaining their ADI Badge qualification to allow them to continue teaching.

Martin also works alongside with Legal Motor Offences Teams (Solicitors). This is working with their clients who have a pending court appearance. Martin designs bespoke courses around their client’s needs. In depth training reports are then developed, for the client to hand on to their legal team as part of their defence.

In addition Martin has assessed existing Police or retired Police Class 1 drivers as to their driving ability for chauffeuring “A list celebrities” as part of their job application and recruitment process for a major chauffeuring company.

Martin holds the aspired RoSPA Gold Advanced Driver Qualification Award, which he first acquired back in 2006.

Since his first award he has re-sat and re-qualified as a RoSPA Gold driver six times, most recently in 2026. This equates to a total of seven times being awarded the RoSPA Gold Qualification. This equates to over twenty years of meeting the top grade, which tells you far more than any single certificate.

## Coaching Philosophy

Martin's day-to-day activities involve working with those who are already fully qualified to drive that wish to drive to a higher standard for business, pleasure or indeed both. 

With two decades of being a RoSPA Gold Driver, and over twenty years as a driver trainer he has developed an approach built on diagnosis which allows a structured approach to improvement.

Echoing the Driving Masters philosophy of "Never stop learning", Martin is keen to help all clients improve, whether a novice driver who has just passed their driving test or for those that have been driving for many years.
