Hi David / Matt, Thank you for my notes & comments, all of which I find valid & very useful. A huge "thank you" to Matt for his non wavering & detailed, clear & concise instructions & suggestions during the long & hot day. I am happy to say I learnt a lot about better & safer driving techniques, and a lot about myself and the limitations, & how to "read ahead" along with how to look out for potential hazards by not only reading the road, but using other external "signals", such as dustbins & skid marks & high vehicles over hedges to determine where the road goes & other such indicators.

I am also happy with myself, in that whilst I am a mere 70 years old & my awareness & reaction times have slowed, and whilst it was not "perfect", my driving was not too bad, and that has given me some of my confidence back after the initial incident some weeks ago that prompted me to seek some help. I think / hope Matt was relaxed as he did not have to scream at me or take the keys away :-) !

So to wrap up, it was a well thought out & very well structured day & experience, and I will continue to use the additional skill sets that was imparted to me on the day. Thank you - Pete

This was my third Driving Masters session with Paul, and his coaching remains second to none. Calm, clear, and exceptionally knowledgeable, Paul has a unique ability to deliver expert technical instruction in a thoroughly reassuring way. For each session, he has perfectly matched the terrain to my personal goals, resulting in Welsh routes that are as breathtakingly scenic as they are challenging. After every session, I’ve seen tangible gains in my roadcraft and left with distinct areas to practise and refine. I now feel fully equipped to get the absolute best out of my 911 safely, dynamically, and with total confidence on the public road. Beyond the top-tier instruction, Paul is just a genuinely great guy to spend a day in a car with. Thanks, Paul.

We had the pleasure of meeting Craig from the NW to develop our daughter’s driving skills as a newly qualified driver. Craig was extremely accommodating and came to our house so that our daughter could practise tricky routes and motorways close to home.

Craig was very personable and explained the aims of the day clearly, encouraging our daughter to set her own targets. It was clear that Craig had an extensive knowledge of car operations and best practice in safe driving. As an ex teacher, I can say he also understood the process of teaching and learning.

We would highly recommend Craig.

The session with Will was excellent. I particularly appreciated the analytical way he deconstructed the driving task; it was insightful to observe his decision-making logic first-hand. ​Although I was already familiar with the underlying theory, the value of this session was in the rigorous application. Will’s real-time instructions were precise and timed perfectly, which allowed me to bypass the usual processing delay and simply execute. This immediacy helped me achieve a sustained flow state, keeping me fully focused on the drive rather than the mechanics of the plan. It was a pleasure to train with that level of clarity.

I had an excellent experience learning with Mick Kinghorn at Driving Masters. Mick is a truly outstanding advanced driving instructor – calm, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. He explains everything clearly and tailors his approach to suit your level, which really builds confidence behind the wheel.

What really stood out was his attention to detail and focus on developing safe, smooth, and professional driving habits. The session was not only highly informative but also enjoyable, and I felt my driving improved significantly in a short space of time.

I would highly recommend Mick to anyone looking to take their driving to the next level. A top-class instructor and a genuinely great guy.

Colin was friendly and easy to get along with which made me feel at ease! He gave me some great tips to improve my driving and was dedicated in making sure the day fulfilled everything I wanted to cover.

Paul was an engaging, professional and approachable driving coach. He was able to recognise, assess and swiftly make an action plan of the topics that would make the most demonstrable improvement to my road driving. The route was well thought out and I can only thank him for his contribution to me learning a number of new but totally relevant concepts. Highly recommended.

A very relaxed, enjoyable and informative day spent driving with Neil. It was great to receive advice and feedback about my driving from someone who clearly understood (and was able to explain) how to use a car optimally. We covered a lot of ground, both literally and in an educational sense. I’d highly recommend the training to anyone wanting to improve their driving skills.

Game changing day! I wanted to gain confidence with spirited driving in my summer car and the day did not disappoint. I approached the day as the start of the journey, but to my surprise I ended the day with a step change in my braking, rev matching and limit point driving. Carl was a patient and super experienced instructor who delivered a tailored and structured day that led to this step change. Could not recommend Driving Masters and Carl more!
