Our Mission to Upskill Drivers

Our mission is to encourage more drivers to reflect on their own driving abilities and to deliver high performance road driving skills to a wider audience.

For too long, enthusiasts and those seeking to learn more have had limited options to choose from. The passion for cars and driving in the UK is massive, yet the art of driving itself is neglected. We want to equip sports and supercar owners with the skills to match the enormous capabilities of modern cars.

David Edmonston, Founder

Driving Masters was created by David Edmonston, an innovator in the car world for more than 25 years. As the founder of PistonHeads, he's been involved with performance cars and the car community for decades. In recent years he was involved in the creation of the online auction business Collecting Cars and with Driving Masters he wants to ensure the petrolhead fully appreciates the joy of learning advanced driving skills.

The Driving Masters Team

Our goal is to deliver a modern, accessible platform giving drivers instant access to high performance driver coaching. With assistance from coaching legend Paul Ripley, we recruited the most experienced advanced driving instructors in the UK to join our network. We're super proud of the experience our team can bring to bear. We've got real depth of experience in training civilians, blue light services and the military in all manner of scenarios.

All our team are DVSA accredited driving instructors with the appropriate insurances to coach the general public.

The Product

We offer intensive one day coaching courses where we'll build on whatever level of driving knowledge or experience you currently have and ensure we stretch you and test you to elevate your game significantly. Good driving requires massive levels of concentration and mental process and we guarantee that we'll stretch you to become as good as you can - and to realise how much more there is to learn about advanced driving.
