What it is
We all fall into bad habits when driving and most of us lean on experience to inform how we behave on the roads.
Our driver training gives the opportunity to reassess your current style of driving and identify techniques and skills ripe for improvement.
There are some skills that most drivers have simply never been taught, such as motorway driving and overtaking. We can guide you through these manoeuvres and give you practical tips and processes to use every day.
This course will plug the gaps in your knowledge, refresh your memory on the basics and give you a new approach to driving that is more considered, deliberate and less stressful.
This course can be tailored to your needs, so if you want it to be an introduction to Police Roadcraft, we can deliver it in that manner or if it's a confidence boost you need then we can focus on areas of driving that really worry you.
Talk to us today and we can craft a day to your needs.

Your Day
Meet your instructor, make a plan for the day. Head off on a relaxed assessment drive on roads familiar to you.
Discuss the instructor's observations, learn more about The System of driving and the increased level of observation required for your next session.
Take a break, discuss what's working and what isn't. Plan the afternoon's route and focus points.
Your new found skills in observation, hazard awareness and planning your drive should now be slotting together.
This is all quite tiring! Call it a day if you're ready or deliver one last 20 minute session demonstrating what you've learned.
Your head may be spinning. The instructor will prepare their report and your skills map.
A step change in confidence
Training for open minded drivers keen on improving their skill set and resilience at the wheel. Build confidence and learn to enjoy driving again.

“Colin is a superstar! I am at a time in my driving when I needed to be corrected and reinforced. The day was very hands on without overloading too much information. Colin expertly focused on the areas I needed to improve. With his wealth of practical knowledge, Colin was patient and understanding. My outcome was well and truly achieved. My sincere thanks to Colin.”
“I wasn’t sure of how the day would pan out and what I would achieve, as my motivation was to reconnect with the freedom and pleasure of driving but being cognisant of all the many challenges presented on the road today. Well, I needn’t have had any concerns Mark immediately put me at ease. His personable approach and obvious wealth of knowledge and experience shone through like a laser beam. He has a very subtle and natural style of imparting his knowledge and at the same time helping me hone and improve my driving, where needed, and understand how the roads and surrounding areas can give information and clues that can be interpreted to allow a safer driving environment for all road users. Marks report following our session was excellent and highlighted all the saliant points of the day, plus any areas to develop. ”
