As Head of Driver Training for Police Scotland, he directed the UK’s largest police driving school, delivering over 1,500 training programmes annually.

He has advised government bodies and law-enforcement agencies across Europe, North America, Asia and beyond, contributing to the Highway Code and the seminal “Roadcraft” publications.
