The fact that you're reading this gives us the comfort that you're keen to find out for yourself what skills might need refining or potentially learning afresh.

Our Total Driving coaching is where capable drivers discover the comprehensive nature of full Roadcraft coaching. This isn't about driving over cautiously - it's about precision, purpose and complete control. It's the same system that pursuit-trained police use to make rapid progress safely. It transforms how you read the road, position your car, and manage speed.

You'll learn the full Police system of car control: Information, Position, Speed, Gear, Acceleration. This isn't abstract theory, it's a working framework that reduces mental workload and maximises capability especially when the roads get challenging. Done well, it doesn't feel restrictive, it feels effortless.

We'll refine what you do instinctively and add the systematic elements you're missing. We challenge assumptions, tighten sloppy habits, and show you why Roadcraft makes driving both safer and more enjoyable. Smoother, and faster where it matters. We can make driving more rewarding.

What you'll develop:

• Advanced observation - reading several moves ahead, spotting developing hazards, processing information faster
• Systematic vehicle control - precise IPSGA application in complex, real-world situations where instinct isn't enough
• Strategic positioning - commanding road space with confidence, maximising visibility and options
• Refined car control - mechanical sympathy, smooth inputs, perfect gear selection
• Extended planning - anticipating and positioning for hazards you can't yet see

Expect honest, technical feedback. We'll push you to justify decisions, explain your thinking, demonstrate consistency. Not flattery - professional-level coaching to close the gap between good and systematically excellent.

Session Format

The overall aims are set out above, but of course we will tailor your day to suit you. If there's one part of your driving that you'd like to focus on (e.g. overtaking or cornering techniques), then we'll happily plan the day accordingly.

A day will normally run from 09:30 until 16:30 or earlier depending how tired you become. There’s a lot to take on board.

All coaching takes place in the student’s own car. Driving Masters will provide lunch and appropriate breaks to manage fatigue. 100-150 miles are likely to be driven.

After the session your coach will write up a summary and you'll also receive a certificate, confirming your attendance.
